Overview
Rupal Face of Nanga Parbat. Tarishing is a village with around 200 inhabitants and a sub-division of Astore District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It is considered the gateway to Nanga Parbat. It has almost 25 shops, 1 high school for boys, 1 middle school for girls, 1 private English-medium school, two hotels and a small medical center (a 10-bed hospital is under construction). A large glacier beside the Rupal river is also a part of this village, that is situated on an altitude of about 2900 meters.
Itinerary
Welcome reception at Islamabad international Airport, and transfer to Islamabad Hotel which take 40 minute overnight in Hotel.
After breakfast at Hotel, we sightseeing to Islamabad city tours to (King Shah Faisal Mosque, Damanekoh and rest of the day repacking for our trekking.
Drive from Islamabad – Chilas by bus, En-route we can cross the beautiful Naran & Kaghan valley, where will be our lunch break and heading toward to babusar top 4170m to reach Chilas city overnight in Hotel.
Start for our Rupal face of Nanga Parbat trek. We drive from Cahilas- Astore valley where we take our lunch and heading toward to Tarishing village 2900m overnight in Guest House.
We take our breakfast in Tarshing guest house, our low altitude porter and mules ready to head our trekking and camping equipment's, we reach Helikofer base camp at around 1:00hrs where we established our first camping night.
Having a breakfast in camp served by Summit Karakoram camping management, we further trekking to Lotobu Base camp which take 4-5hrs to enable full view of Rupal face of Nanga Parbat overnight in tent.
After completion of our trek we return to Tarishing village which take full day trekking between 7-8 hrs, our local porters and their mules transfer our trekking equipment to Tarishing village where we thanks for their accomplished.
Today we drive to Chilas, en route we cross multiple bridge of Astore valley, where we explore and take lunch and further drive to Chilas city 1265m.
After early breakfast we drive from Chilas - Islamabad via Babusar top where we meet domestic tourist and drive to Naran valley where we take our lunch and drive straight to Islamabad 9hrs overnight in Hotel.
Today we explore to Taxila museum, from Islamabad it take 1hrs and we spend our full day to old museum like sirkap, etc. and return to Islamabad for dinner and then we transfer to Islamabad international airport for onward to your own destination.

- RECOMMENDATION:- We recommend our clients to deposit helicopter rescue aviation deposit in advance $5000/- the entire money is refundable if not use. In case any emergency happen on remote mountain range then we fly helicopter on time to save life.
- TRAVEL INSURANCE:- It is a strongly recommend that while booking treks and tours with us that travelers/trekkers must be protected by insurance themselves that covers cancellation, accidents, health, emergency evacuation, and loss of items, or damage to baggage and personal effects.

- 1 Backpack with a carrying capacity of 60 to 70 L/ 15 -17 Gallons (a similar sized duffle bag or travel bag can be used as a substitute)
- 1 Small backpack for day trips
- Sleeping bag (down or synthetic, down to 0 degrees, lightweight compression bag)
- 1 Warm jacket or parka
- 3 Pairs of outdoor pants (jeans are not recommended as they are difficult to dry out when wet)
